Our project

21.11.2006 Time 20:26,

In the course of the project every participant country introduces the characters of his children literature. Each month is dedicated to one character. The younger students draw this character, or make it, using different techniques. They also make a mindmap on each character in their mother tongue. The older kids talk about the author of the book their character has been taken from, and also the character itself in their literature classes. In the English classes the older kids translate the mindmaps into English. In the IT classes the students make the mindmaps electronically, using the programme Kidspiration, or other programmes. The course of the whole project can be watched in the timeweb. The stories, mindmaps and the pictures can be found in the e-magazine (http://www2.edu.fi/magazinefactory/). The links of all the e-magazines of the participants can be found on the page of our joint blog page http://www.blogger.com The drawings we are going to make will form a calendar (http://www.calendarsthatwork.com/index.php?action=displaySelectCalendarForm&calendarId=monthPAp1&sid=Nqkr00kK )and a puzzle (http://www.brainsbreaker.com/). We plan to begin the project in September and end it in May.
