Global warming is a serious problem that we are facing right now. Global GLOBAL WARMING Global warming is a serious problem that we are facing right now. Global warming is a conundrum to lots of the people. As being a very burning issue global warming needs to be talked about so that the people can be familiar with the causes as well as the effects of global warming. It is found that the temperature of the earth is rising by about 0.5ï‚°C hence the potential increase in global average surface temperatures resulting from enhancement of the greenhouse effect by air pollution is global warming. The dominant cause of the earth getting warmer is the increase of the greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide trapped in the atmosphere, which is also known as greenhouse effect. Usually the gases in the earth's atmosphere have trapped sufficient heat to sustain life in earth but due to increase in human activities the greenhouse gases are increasing day by resulting in the rise of the earth's temperatures. Generally the sun radiation reflects back from the earth but due to the increase of greenhouse gases in the lower atmosphere, the sun's radiation gets trapped. This increases the temperature. In 2001 the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change estimated that by 2100 global average surface temperatures would increase by 1.4 to 5.8ï‚°C depending on the range of greenhouse gas emissions. Many scientists predict that such an increase in the temperature causes the polar ice caps and mountains, glaciers to melt rapidly and significantly it would increase the level of coastal waters by. It results in produce of new patterns, disrupting in the food production in certain region, disappearance of islands from the world map, extremes of drought and rainfall etc. Hence as global warming is bringing a very problematic situation we need to take immediate actions upon it so that our future is certain and our planet Earth is secure. Bonfire Night UK

En Inglaterra celebramos Bonfire Night, la muerte de Guy Fawkes que intentó a volcar el parlamento británico en 1605,el cinco de novembre. Por la tarde hacemos hogueras de madera. Tambien tenemos fuegos artificiales. Comemos manzanas de caramelo, empanadas de patatas y caramelos de melazo. Hacemas una efigie de Guy Fawkes y la ponemos en la hoguera. En mi opinion, Bonfire Night es a veces bastante aburrida cuando llueva. Pero normalmente es divertida. Mi parte favorita es las fuegos artificiales. Read more »
